Frequently Asked Questions
What does "Turbo function" mean on the V-987?
The Turbo function boosts the motor to maximum 7,000 RPM output for cutting through thick, coarse, or damp hair without snagging. Activate it when you need extra power for difficult areas or dense hair textures.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The V-987 provides up to 400 minutes of continuous use on one charge. It fully recharges in 3.5 hours via the included USB cable, compatible with any USB adapter, power bank, or laptop port.
Can I use the V-987 while it's charging?
Yes. The V-987 supports both cord and cordless operation. If the battery is low during a session, simply plug in via USB and continue using it without interruption.
What guide comb sizes are included?
Three guide combs are included: 1.5mm for very close cuts, 3mm for short trims, and 4mm for medium length styles. For longer cuts or fades, use the taper lever to blend between lengths smoothly.
How do I read the digital display on the V-987?
The digital display shows battery level as a percentage so you know exactly how much charge remains, a charging icon when connected to power, and an oil indicator that alerts you when the blade needs lubricating for optimal performance.
