The EZVIZ HB8 Lite 4G is a 2K+ (4MP) outdoor battery pan & tilt camera that runs on 4G SIM or Wi-Fi. When Wi-Fi drops or isn't available, it switches to 4G automatically. That makes it ideal for farmhouses, plots, construction sites and gates where there's no internet. A 5,200mAh rechargeable battery, 340° pan / 80° tilt, colour night vision and AI human/vehicle detection mean no wiring and no blind spots. 🔧 How to Install
- Fully charge the battery using a 5V/2A adapter before first use.
- Insert an active 4G data Nano SIM and a microSD card (up to 512GB).
- Add the camera in the EZVIZ app by scanning the QR code, then connect to 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or let it run on 4G.
- Mount it on a wall or pole with the drill template and screws, about 2.5–3m high for the best view.
- Turn on human/vehicle detection, smart tracking and the siren in the app. Add an EZVIZ solar panel for non-stop power.

Does it work without Wi-Fi? ⌄
Yes. Insert any active 4G data Nano SIM and the camera works on mobile data alone, so it's perfect for farmhouses, plots and sites with no internet. If Wi-Fi is available, it uses Wi-Fi and switches to 4G automatically when Wi-Fi drops.
What is the difference between the HB8 Lite and the HB8 Lite 4G? ⌄
The HB8 Lite 4G adds a 4G SIM slot alongside Wi-Fi, so it keeps working where there's no internet or when Wi-Fi goes down. It also has Always-On Video 2.0 for 24/7 recording.
Is a solar panel included? ⌄
No, the solar panel is sold separately. The camera works with EZVIZ Type-C solar panels for continuous charging, so you never need to take it down to recharge.
Does it work without a subscription? ⌄
Yes. Live view, two-way talk, pan & tilt, alerts and microSD recording are free in the EZVIZ app. Cloud storage is optional. You only need a mobile data package on the SIM when using 4G.
