- Place the router in a central, open location โ avoid corners, cabinets, or behind walls that block signal.
- Connect your ISP's modem/fiber output to the router's WAN port using the included Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the power adapter and wait for the router to fully boot (usually 1โ2 minutes).
- Connect to the router's default Wi-Fi name (printed on the label underneath) using the default password.
- Open a browser and go to tendawifi.com, or use the Tenda app, to complete setup and change your Wi-Fi name/password.
- Enable WPA3 security and update firmware if a newer version is available.
- Test speed and coverage in different rooms before finalizing router placement.
