- Place the router in a central, open location; avoid corners, cabinets, or behind walls that block signal.
- Connect your ISP's modem/fiber output to the router's WAN port using the included Ethernet cable.
- Plug in the power adapter and wait for the router to fully boot (usually 1โ2 minutes).
- Connect to the router's default Wi-Fi name (printed on the label underneath).
- Open a browser and go to tendawifi.com, or use the Tenda app, to complete setup and change your Wi-Fi name/password.
- Enable WPA3 security and update firmware if a newer version is available.
- Test speed and coverage in different rooms before finalizing router placement.

- โ Do keep the antennas upright and unobstructed
- โ Do change the default Wi-Fi password immediately after setup
- โ Don't place it inside a cabinet or behind a TV; this blocks signal significantly
- โ Don't place it near microwaves or cordless phone bases; they cause interference
- โ Don't block ventilation; keep clear space around the router

TX9 or TX12 Pro, which should I buy? โ
Both are AX3000 with Gigabit ports. The TX12 Pro adds a fifth antenna and Wi-Fi+ mesh, so you can link a second unit later for a bigger home. For a single router in a normal home, the TX9 is enough.
Do I need Wi-Fi 6 devices to benefit from this router? โ
No. The TX9 is backward compatible with older Wi-Fi standards, so all your existing devices connect normally. You get the biggest benefit with Wi-Fi 6 phones, laptops, or smart TVs.
Is this compatible with PTCL, StormFiber, or Nayatel? โ
Yes. The TX9 works with any ISP in Pakistan since it connects via standard Ethernet WAN. Connect the WAN port to your existing modem or ONT and configure through the Tenda app or web interface.
Can I use this to replace my ISP's default router? โ
Yes. Set your ISP's box to bridge mode (or keep it as-is and connect via WAN) and let the TX9 handle your Wi-Fi for better speed and coverage.
