Yes — Pakistan's climate is exceptionally well suited to solar-powered cameras. With abundant sunshine for most of the year, the included solar panel will keep the battery continuously topped up during daylight hours. Even on overcast days, partial sunlight is usually sufficient to maintain the charge when the camera is in typical standby/motion-detect mode. During extended cloudy periods, the built-in battery provides additional backup.

To conserve battery life, the HB8 Lite primarily records on motion detection using its PIR sensor. When movement is detected, it wakes up, records the event, and sends an alert to your phone. Continuous recording is battery-intensive and not recommended for solar-powered cameras. For locations where continuous recording is needed, a wired camera such as the H8c Pro would be more appropriate.

Because it has no power cable, the HB8 Lite can be installed anywhere with Wi-Fi signal and sunlight — including rooftops, boundary walls, trees, farmhouse perimeters, construction sites, and remote outbuildings. This makes it ideal for locations where running a power cable would be expensive, difficult, or simply impossible.

Yes. The solar panel connects to the camera via a cable, so they do not need to be on the same surface. You can mount the camera in a shaded spot facing the area you want to monitor while positioning the solar panel on a nearby sunlit surface — such as a roof edge or wall — for optimal charging.

No microSD card is included. The camera supports cards up to 256GB (sold separately at TechDukan.pk). Since the HB8 Lite records primarily on motion detection rather than continuously, a 128GB or 256GB card can store weeks of event recordings depending on how frequently motion is triggered. EZVIZ CloudPlay cloud storage is also available as an alternative.
